From what I have heard from well-placed sources, the construction is progressing very nicely, right on schedule. Both the Chairville School and the Kirby's Mill School will be ready to open on time for the start of the school year next September.

A breezeway will be constructed to connect Memorial School with Haines School, and Haines School will become the 6th grade campus for Memorial Middle School. A driveway will be constructed on the Mill Street side of the breezeway, allowing buses to drop off 7th and 8th graders at Memorial, then continuing up to the 6th grade campus.
